This is a running list of my One Thousand Gifts. If you want to see the complete list you can click on the 1000 Gifts button in the left side-bar or click this link to open a single document with the entire list.

Has it really been this long since I've updated my list here?  The thanks go on, even when they're not getting posted!

A small voice calls from my bed.  There should be silence upstairs, but there's not.  No big surprise, this, but the reason for the call is unusual.  It's not the usual stalling.  No.  This is a thoughtful question from Brown-Eyed Boy who is enjoying the deep moments before sleep when Jesus speaks.

"How do you hug Jesus?"

As I stumble mentally for a simple yet meaningful response, another voice calls from the next bedroom:

"Just take a deep breath in."

A much better answer than mine would have been.

Growing Family

Another child added to the Family of Christ.

Most definitely a Gift of Unmeasurable Worth!

The Gallery

Brown Eyed Boy loves to draw. His favourite subjects are motor vehicles: vans, pickup trucks, transport trucks, race cars...

Recently he has begun adding his artwork to our 'gallery'.

It seems that every day there is something new on the wall.
(Maybe he was feeling left out because he didn't do the same art work his brother and sister did and he had nothing to show in the gallery?)

A New Year, A New Process

I know. PeaceLedge has been very quiet lately. There have been times in the past weeks when I've wanted to write something here, but have hesitated. I think the anonymity of the readership is beginning to bother me somewhat, and now, especially after the comment that spurred the previous post and another comment received today of a different nature, I'm feeling it necessary to make some changes.

In the near future PeaceLedge will become a by-invitation-only blog. I'll send out emails that include a link to the blog and without that email invitation one won't be able to access it. Once you've gone through the activation process once you'll be able to view it just the same as always. I know who many of my regular readers are (Hi, Mom and Dad!), but if you're someone who reads often and you haven't received an email in the next week or so, email me and I'll send you the link.

I know that initially this makes a bit of a complication, but I'm not willing to do much else online until it is in place. Thanks for bearing with me on this one.
